Acupuncture visits can include as part of the treatment: Patient intake, evaluation, discussion of progress, pulse diagnosis, and one ore more therapies such as, acupuncture, guasha, cupping, tuina. Discussion of follow-up care, dietary and lifestyle modifications may also be part of the treatment.
- Initial Visit: Depending on the complexity of your case, the initial visit can run from 60 to 90 minutes ($75 or $100).
- Follow-up Visits: Can run from 30-60 minutes and are $75.
Herbal consultations: Approximately 20 minutes long and are $40, in addition to the cost of the herbs. Herbs can range from $20-45 for a weeks supply. (Prices are determined by the size of the formula, the cost of the individual herbs and the dosages).
We accept cash, check and credit cards including HSA/FSA cards. Payment is due at the time of your office visit. Once you have been checked out, you will be sent an email receipt. If you would like to submit your visit to your insurance company for reimbursement a superbill will be emailed to you. (see below)
When your visit is complete and you have been checked out, we will email you a superbill in PDF format. (A superbill contains the Diagnosis codes, Treatment Codes and our practice information, such as license number and NPI number, which insurance companies accept.) If your insurance policy includes acupuncture or herbal treatments, you can submit the superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement. Each plan within a company is variable, so two plans with the same company may have different coverage for acupuncture.
